Wide Open Spaces Chapter 1

Wide Open Spaces

Chapter 1: Wyoming By Air

Wyoming is wide open. Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park bless and define our state. Sometimes, we forget how special this place is and we can’t take it for granted. Wide open Wyoming is our backyard and playground, but it is also our terroir, the massive system from which our water hails and what helps make our maturation environment the most unique in the whiskey world. Wide Open Spaces | By Air is part of Wyoming Whiskey’s commitment and partnership with the National Park Foundation. Chartered by Congress in 1967, the Foundation helps preserve and protect these forever wild and wide open spaces for generations to come.

The National Parks Limited Edition celebrates Wyoming Whiskey’s partnership with the National Park Foundation, the official nonprofit partner of the National Park Service. This first edition in an annual series honors Grand Teton National Park which is home to the majestic Teton mountain range on the western edge of Wyoming. The idea of Wyoming Whiskey was born at the base of these mountains and we are proud to help protect them for future generations.

Chapter 2

Artist Thomas Moran, a member of the Hayden Geological Survey of 1871, helped bring a faraway world of unimaginable natural wonder to life and impress the need for its protection. As America’s first National Park, Yellowstone’s wide open spaces and unique landscapes, like Tower Fall, continue to inspire and impress visitors today just as they have for 150 years.
