This huge and ornery black gelding made a name for himself in the early 1900’s as the horse that couldn’t be ridden. His savage bucking style struck fear into bronco riders and made battered folk heroes of the very few who somehow managed to hang on. Steamboat’s image and legend lives forever in Wyoming’s iconic logo, rodeo history and this special edition bourbon whiskey.

Steamboat is a Special Release bottled in the summer of 2018. This straight bourbon whiskey was batched using barrels selected from the bottom ricks of the rickhouse which offer a softer, fruitier bourbon without the spice notes found in our flagship Small Batch bourbon. It is intended to appeal to whiskey drinkers who may favor a Canadian whiskey and an easy-drinking spirit. 90 proof. All grains are grown in Wyoming and are non-GMO.
