Honoring Senator Hansen

Statesman is a limited Wyoming state exclusive offering that pays tribute to Clifford P. Hansen, one of the most iconic figures in Wyoming history and great grandfather of our distiller Sam Mead. Over the 97 years of his life, he served as County Commissioner (1943-1951), President of the Wyoming Stockgrower’s Association (1953-1955), Governor (1963-1967), and two terms as U.S. Senator (1967-1978). He was the Wyoming Statesman.

This bourbon captures the storied life of Senator Hansen with a commemorative Hanson re-election campaign button and specially bottled at 97 proof. Available July 2019.
